Most QR codes that fail were printed wrong, not made wrong.
Do not go smaller than 2cm
On a flyer or menu, 2cm across is the floor. On a window or a poster people scan from further back, so go bigger: about one centimetre of code for every ten centimetres of scanning distance.
Leave the white space
The empty border around the code is part of the code. Designers crop it off all the time and then it stops scanning. Leave it exactly as we give it to you.
Test before you print 500
Print one, stick it up where it will live, and scan it with a cheap phone in bad light. If it works there it will work anywhere.

Is it really free?
Yes. No watermark, no expiry, no account. Download it and it is yours.
Will it stop working?
No. The code has your link built into it, so it does not depend on us at all. Even if this page disappeared tomorrow, every code you made still works.
Can I change where it points later?
Not with a free code, because the destination is baked in. If you need to change it after printing, that is what Ping Lead does.
Why do you want my details?
Because this is free and we build things for South African businesses. Knowing who uses it and what for helps us build the right things next. We do not sell your information.
